Event and Project Coordinator (80% remote)
Paris, France: UFI, The Global Association of the Exhibition IndustryLanding a job at UFI has been a great cross-cultural experience. As an event technology specialist, my responsibilities include maintaining, designing, updating content, and troubleshooting all event websites. In addition, I am in charge of online conference registrations, preparing event mobile apps, and badges onsite. Simply put, I make sure that all UFI participants are brought on board seamlessly and have a flawless online experience.
The experience has been very exciting as I have the opportunity to work on various platforms, developing and using best practices to ensure a great member experience from a technological standpoint in the international organization.
Event coordinator
France: AES Events Group, Chalet Mounier, Les Relais des Moines / Poland: Grupa Adventure Planet, Business Travel ClubShortly after my graduation, I got my first role as an event coordinator in the event agency “Grupa Adventure Planet”, operating in MICE. I produced and personalized event proposals based on the clients’ needs and expectations. It was a fantastic opportunity to organize team-building and incentive activities for corporate companies.
After moving to France in 2015, I continued working in the hospitality and events industry. My tasks included mostly coordinating logistics, updating social media content, and keeping customers happy by providing professional support.
These 6 years of various experience in hospitality and events agencies were a great asset to my organizational, management, and customer service skills.
Logistiscs Coordinator
Poznan, Poland: Bucelfruta Lda.My time at Bucelfruta was invaluable. I gained significant experience managing various aspects of the operation, including office administration, domestic transportation, and warehouse improvements. My primary role was to manage customer orders in the Comarch System and ensure timely deliveries. Through handling challenges and setbacks, I developed a strong can-do attitude and honed my problem-solving skills.
During this very multitasking role I could also practice my negotiation skills that resulted in lowering by 10% the domestic transportation costs.
It was an amazing opportunity to work in the international company in Poland. I had strengthen my management skills, and learned how to work under pressure with a positive attitude that helped to keep good relations with clients and providers.
